The Hoopbus Invitational is a 3x3 basketball tournament series created to celebrate community, foster connection, and highlight local basketball talent. This dynamic event offers youth of all ages an inclusive space to compete, collaborate, and showcase their skills in a supportive and positive environment.
The inaugural invitational was piloted in NYC with tournaments now running in New York and Los Angeles.

Who Can Play?

Each tournament is run by the local chapter, age information is traditionally posted on the instagram account (@thehoopbus) on the event fliers. Traditional tournaments feature age groups between u11-u17, with some tournaments hosting adult divisions

What are the rules?
Hoopbus partners with local venues and organizations across all our different chapters. This means that our tournaments are played both indoors and outdoors in cities all around the country.
Hoopbus plays an abridged version of Olympic style 3x3, we add a few house rules to make the experience more creative and expressive, and change the timing (10 minute running clock) to accommodate logistics. For more information - reach out to the event organizer.
