TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to hoopbus.com, the forms you fill out for Hoop Bus Inc. (“Hoopbus,” “we,” “us”), and the text messages we send. Hoop Bus Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings basketball programs to schools and communities. By using our website, submitting our forms or opting in to our texts, you agree to these Terms.

1. USING OUR WEBSITE AND FORMS

Please give accurate information when you book an event, volunteer, sign up for crew work, register or donate. Don’t misuse our website or forms, or try to access them in ways we didn’t intend.

2. SMS TERMS (HOOPBUS CREW TEXT ALERTS)

  • Program: Hoop Bus Inc. sends text messages to staff, contractors and volunteers who opt in. We use these texts only for event staffing: availability requests, booking confirmations, schedule changes and reminders. We do not send marketing texts.

  • How to opt in: check the text-consent box on the Hoopbus Crew Text Alerts form or another Hoopbus crew form. Consent is not a condition of working with Hoopbus.

  • Message frequency: varies with the events you’re asked to work.

  • Cost: message and data rates may apply.

  • How to opt out: reply STOP to any message. You’ll get one confirmation text and no further messages. To rejoin, reply START.

  • Help: reply HELP, or email info@hoopbus.com.

  • Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  • Privacy: we handle your mobile number as described in our Privacy Policy at hoopbus.com/privacy-policy. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

3. EVENTS AND PARTICIPATION

Event bookings, crew assignments and participation may have their own agreements, waivers or contracts. If those differ from these Terms, those documents control for that event or engagement.

4. DONATIONS

Donations are processed by our payment providers. Hoop Bus Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a gift was made in error, contact us.

5. CONTENT AND PHOTOS

Website content, logos and materials belong to Hoopbus unless otherwise noted. We photograph and film our events to share our work. Participants and crew can ask not to be featured by contacting us.

6. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Our website is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, Hoopbus is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the website, forms or text messages.

7. CHANGES

We may update these Terms. When we do, we’ll change the effective date at the top of this page.
